I am Francesco, a 25-year-old recent graduate at @cafoscari where I have earned my master’s degree in Japanese language, culture and economy.  Living for several months in Japan allowed me to boost my competence with the language as well as to improve multi-cultural understanding skills.

My post-degree internship consisted in carrying out several activities for Taste Italy, an organization promoting

Italian culture, food and tourism in Flanders. I wrote articles for a lifestyle magazine and translated recipes, quote lists, press releases and website technical content (FAQs, privacy policy). Furthermore, I advised on rebranding projects for companies active in food & beverage.

I worked in the highly-exclusive environment of Venice Film Festival ‘76 where I had the opportunity of working in a young and dynamic team at mondadorielecta. I worked in the booking office of ghotelprincipe where a team has been built up to cover several tasks. My work consisted in the implementation of the following operations: processing of bookings which includes their registration, amendment or cancellation by using OPERA Reservation System; management of guests' inquiries via mail (through Microsoft Outlook service) and telephone by switching from a language to another in order to support customers' needs; communication with worldwide travel agencies and partners; special additional support for Japanese customers.
